All we need to worry about is the DA bill which is coming for a vote.

DA User is right, the Dream Act has a date to be voted on. Thats all that matters.

Why are you guys such dick heads to DA User? I rather read his optimistic stuff because it makes me wonder and ask myself "is it true? Shoot, I'm going to call all these people, like right NOW." It urges me to make calls, send emails, faxes and tell all the people to do the same, opposed to when I read stuff like 'Fuck this, DA is dead" or "DA will never pass", that just ticks me off.

If you guys don't think it's going to pass then stop coming to this forum and read all the latest posts. I come here to get my daily DA fix, not to say negative stuff on any single optimistic article.

Problem is, that when you are being optimistic, people think you are being unrealistic, and when you are being realistic people think you are being a pessimist.

It's not easy for some people to "Dream" for how many years we get fed this bullshit that Democrats and Republicans want to work together for the better. 2007, and now the same today, it's cool that DA is optimistic, but he should also acknowledge that some people just do not want to get their hopes up.

Because he keeps telling people that we have more than 60 Senators on our side and DREAM is 100% certain to pass. That sort of misinformation just drives people to stop calling Senators and really helps no one.

because weak souls want to only listen to what they want to hear, and DA User exactly provides that for them. DREAM Act will fail in december and DA User will still be standing tall saying "well, dont worry guys we have 2011....remember, it was the republicans who passed past amnesties" and then these weaklings will be clobbering around him suckin on his teets into the new year.

You guys are just bullies, and because of his optimism He is an easy target for you, if he provides misinformation, correct him, and if he is just being overly optimistic ignore him. But don't just insult him, because he seems too way to optimistic.

You have to understand that many bills have been passed during the lame-duck session. I don't see anything wrong on being optimistic. There might be a chance that it will pass during the three weeks that are left for congress. It might not a big one that we all hope for, but there IS a chance.
