It doesn't matter whether the START treaty gets passed or not as long as it gets its attention on the Senate floor before the DA.

what pisses me of is why did they jam up so many bills in the lameduck. what the hell were the dems doing the whole freakin two years when they had all 60 votes. repubes are such bustards they want shit done their way and thats it. so they are holding everything up bunch of phuckfaces. dems are such push overs. i am afraid, god forbid, if DA doesnt pass who knows what else they going to change in the bill and i might not qualify for the next version.

Well if you were them, and you were about to have a lot more power in a few weeks, wouldn't you stall so you get things your own way?
You are right, the democrats spent a whole year on that healthcare bill and god knows what else

Lol, what? The country's gonna be mad?

90% of the country doesn't even know what "deficit spending" means, no matter how they dumb it down on the news. People keep screaming about "improving the economy", "getting us more jobs", while not having a clue that it is up to the consumers to improve the economy.

The Republicans and Democrats alike don't care about funding for special interests as long as they are their interests. Fox will say that the bill is the worst since the 2008 election, and the Democrats will say it will reduce the deficit over the next 75 thousand years, by a gazillion dollars, and the people will just follow the news tailored to their social views.

99% of the people don't even know what changes the HC bill is going to bring up, and they spent like a year on it alone and it was covered by every news station.

Talking and complaining about the economy and spending is basically a fad now.

It's funny how the American public is prone to getting credit against future, no matter how uncertain, profits, and then complaining to the government when they cannot even cover interest, because they were not able to make any money in the meantime and then saying that it is the governments fault for allowing them to do that.

“Americans told Democrats last month to stop what they’ve been doing: bigger government, 2,000-page bills jammed through on Christmas Eve, wasteful spending. “

Oh yeah McConnell? Then what exactly did they say in 2008?

After healthcare, they passed financial regulatory reform. And then of course they were busy saving their congressional seats which took up another few months.
