I am 100% positive that the Senate will have the votes to repeal this time.

I wish I could say the same about Dream

The Senate has enough votes to pass a standalone repeal of the military's Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) has been told by Senate counterparts, he said in an interview with HuffPost Wednesday evening after the House approved its own version of the bill.
Hoyer said that he's been working closely with Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine), the leading reform advocates in the Senate, and that he suggested last week to Lieberman that the House move first.

The fact that Durbin doesn't have the 60 votes yet for the dream act is concerning.

Well, we have 57 votes if we can get to 59 votes the 60 votes will come easily. I read an article how easy the 6oth vote can be if we have 59 votes. Still, 3 votes short, I'm concern but we can do it. It's going to be close, and I believe it will pass just like Health care did before Christmas. Plus, we need more Democrats to vote for it at least one or two more.

We need to CALL CALL CALL! WE CAN'T GIVE UP! Put more pressure on those Republicans.

We have gay DREAMers who want to join the Military. This passing and DREAM passing are both good things.

Relevant information for the DREAMer, not relevant for the DREAM Act unless you want to consider it as a "sign" as to whether or not the Democrats are united enough to squeeze as many votes as possible for DREAM.

I think there a Democrat like Hagan would ONLY vote for it if it was at 59, that way she receives no backlash from Latino's, and looks less criminal in the eyes of conservatives in North Carolina if she passed it with the majority. It'd be smart for her to vote for cloture, and No on the actual thing. She could just say "she changed her mind." But we all know politics is never that simple.

Not to be negative and I will continue to call. Yet it's a little discerning that House is passing all this "controversial" bills like DADT and Dream Act and I'm scared the Senate is not going to take from their example and just finish it off and send those bills to the President's desk.

This does matter...we have Gay DREAMers who have fought as hard, if not harder than you to get DREAM as far is it has. Many of them want to join the military.

And don't you dare say "is it that hard to keep their mouth shut, or keep it in their pants?" because anyone could say the same to you, just in different context.

Senator Joe Leiberman said on Anderson Cooper that they have 62 votes to pass it this time and that Reid should bring it to the floor.
