What do you propose? To wait till 2013 to pass a bill? That's too long of a time mate. Doesn't hurt in trying to push for this new approach...Point is that the support for immigration reform and especially DA is there. The only impediment is the politics that our congressmen and women are playing in order to win votes.

I don't plan to have children but we have got to push for CIR. Email/fax/call!

Yes but Graham backed out due to political reasons and then the push for DA started. Now we have time and 2011 is not the election year.

No he wasn't. He was re-elected in 2008 so he's not up for re-election until 2014- so there was no political pressure for failing to work with Schumer in 2009. Unless he's a self-hating closeted homosexter and he's being blackmailed then I see no other sources of political pressuring...

Here is an article from 2008 during the CIR debate were citizens of South Carolina were protesting Senator Graham about being apart of it,
