Out of around 5 bills targeting the licenses, only one made it past the house a week before the legislative session ended, and it only passed the Senate as an amended bill, which would have still given drivers licenses to people without social security numbers but it obviously did not pass the House. Martinez said she will "CUNTinue" to push to ban drivers licenses for undocumented people, but it seems like it it will be a bit hard to pass since the Senate is currently being controlled by no other cooler group of people than Dems.

Some newly elected republican representatives are already facing recall initiatives, I wouldn't be surprised if this fine lady gets one too if she decides to follow the example of her republican colleagues from other states (say Wisconsin).
