What!? The bigger issue is drivers licenses! Remember back in the day when Spitzer wanted licenses for illegals? If anything, the licenses would kill it. I guess a state id would be good if we can't get a license. But why settle for less before it's even debated? it's improbable that it'll pass but we can only "dream" for politicians to do what is just.

This is what I've been saying. Burden on taxpayers, we don't deserve it, blah blah.

honestly, what the f**k are they thinking by putting in financial aid? If it's not a necessity, don't provide it. I feel like it's all just a political game they play just to keep the people on their toes.

Where do we go to find updates on this bill? When do they vote on this?

The big catch here is that you have to be there for 2 years or else every Dreamer would most likely move there.

This bill has slim chance of passing. There are 32 republican NYS senators out of 62 NYS senators.. 4 are independent and 26 are democrats.

There is still a chance. Think positive.

I don't see how in hell this would not be superseded by federal law in the supreme court if it ever goes that far.
