But what if you're going to join the military anyways?

Look, registering is one thing. I have nothing against the forces or being forced to register for SSS. I did all of that. What I'm saying is that this bill is extremely unfair and unjust.

It leaves out us dreamers who want to help out society in other ways other than shooting a fucking gun. It makes it seem as if we aren't willing to go out and kill in the name of this country were not real Americans. So again, fuck you republicans.

I'd also be worried that the majority of Dreamers are hispanic and most are spanish speakers. With a large number of new spanish speaking soldiers some kind of oil war in South America might sound really good to republicans.

Some of you guys are funny, you want the cake but don't want to do the work. It's a fucken bill in the Texas state house, its not even being thought out at the federal level and theirs already bitching. Don't you guys get it, we have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, nada, squat, shit, etc. What else can you want? What we need is real compromise to get this ball rolling. If you guys don't like the deal, get the fuck out. No one is going to get a perfect deal, were going to have to put in some hard work and then some. All that these people are throwing around are ideas and that's it, they may not be even ideas with good intentions. In other words they may just be saying stuff like that so that they can look good to Latino voters i mean come on everyone is doing it. Obama, Gingrich, everyone. They don't give a rats ass about illegal immigrants, they just want to get elected.

Well by year 2048, I read somewhere that the country will be majority Hispanics and Caucasians will be minority. One day this country will be dominated by immigrants.

This is what I've been asking for over the last 10 years...allowing some of us to get papers by joining the military is better than allowing none of us to get papers. The way I see it, you don't want to fight in a war, join the Navy or the Coast Guard...you can still go to school while in those branches and sure you may be away from your loved ones but at least you get your papers...so does it still sound that horrible? I think not.

You're an idiot, this is not relevant at all to this. SS is just in case there is a draft and we are in a big war. Joining the military isn't really a bad thing, if its the only way to get yourself legalize I would do it, most of us here with high degrees would qualify for higher ranks than just grunts/ground soldiers.

What if a Dreamer gets drafted? Does this mean he will get some kind of status?
