Aside from legalization will take jobs from African minorities? Unions were saying the same thing not too long ago and look at them now, whose in their workforce, immigrants, both legal and illegal.
As long as E-verify is not enforced nationwide you maybe right in terms of hiring immigrants.
The topic here is not what we want but rather how latinos got stung by Obamas administration on immigration, I'm pretty sure there is more than one reason for this situation, all I'm saying is immigration reform from African American's perspective is not that beneficial & that may be one of the reason all Obama has in terms of immigration is a blueprint rather than a actual bill.

Even if E-Verify is enforced their will still be people who use other people's Social and they will get hired. E-Verify isn't anything special, all it does is tell potential employers if a social is valid or not, it doesn't tell them if a person has the right to be in the country legally. African Americans will vote for Obama anyways, with immigration reform or not. I mean come on he is first half black African-American president. I don't think they have anything to do with why all we are presented from this administration is a blueprint, if even that. I think that they are just presenting the idea of CIR because of the votes and because they know its a volatile issue that they can bring up again and again that will force Hispanics to vote democrat. I will agree with you on the fact that we have gotten screwed from this administration on the promise of CIR in the first year, and so on.
