I respectfully disagree with you. You are implying that we should cease to follow our higher goals, because we are in a better situation than those impoverished in our native countries. Such logic only serves to constraint human growth.

Although your statement is true, our environment is very different from our native country. Those impoverished, in our native countries, look up to others around them who have achieved a higher standard of living. Similarly, dreamers look up to their peers who have advanced in life.

Contrary to our peers, our lack of documentation becomes an obstruction in our path which impels us to feel extremely frustrated; it not only becomes a hindrance to our potential, but it inclines us to feel inferior to our peers. We continuously feel afraid and ashamed of revealing our status.

In essence, you must realize that each view is relevant to another. In other words, my view comes from observing my peers who are doing quite well. On the other hand, your view comes from observing those who are starving.

While your view may not be wrong, it is very different in comparison. I am comparing myself to those surrounding me, while you are comparing yourself to those somewhere else on the globe.

I agree with cooltalker. There will always be millions of people who are worse off than your current situation, whether your'e legal or not. If you take the frustration and bury it and refuse to channel it properly then nothing will ever get better. You will always be a conformist that thinks "well...it could be worse," and you'll settle and accept anything. It's okay to complain. It's okay to come on the board and vent. Talking about their problems opening is another thing that starving people can do that we cant.

You guys are all making a lot of senses here but what are we suppose to do? Selfignorance and cooltalker i'm just as frustrated as you.. We are living the same life so don't think for a second I don't know what you guys are going through..

What I'm saying is that the only thing we can do is help stay calm, relaxed and hopeful..

We are already pretty screwed why screw with your health.. Both physical and mental by getting angry and frustrated...

The only thing I can say to you guys is that there is still hope.. I remember when bush won the presidency he said he would not do anything for immigration reform and all hope died.. But right now there is hope... We just need to hang in there for 2 more years..
