Word. My part time job pays me less than my states minimum wage. I feel like I'm living back in the day like a fresh off the boat immigrant laborer. Icing on the cake is that I hold a bachelors degree from a private college.

Have a BBA in Accounting. The thing that is killing me most is that my plans of taking the CPA exam are on a complete hold right now. It makes no sense for me to pay money, spend an incredible amount of time on a review course, spend money on the exam and end up moving out of this state/country. We're going to move back to Kenya. Many of my dads friends are still there and I hear that things are improving there. The capital city, Nairobi, is developing day after day. Nairobi is one of the major cities in Africa in terms of economic activity so I'm really not at all worried about moving back. It will definitely be a little difficult to settle back in and find a job and what not but its doable with some effort. Where are you from?

Well, all of us might as well leave because I know for sure, and all of you know it deep down inside too, that immigration can only be handled in a bipartisan way. What happened with the five Democratic senators who voted against the DA in the December; let's not foget about the numerous Democratic representatives who also voted against the DA. Hence, the only way to handle the immigration issue (although a ludicrous view to some) is to compromise because most of you, if you haven't realized yet, will be screwed hard if the the makeup of congress does not change after 2012. TELL ME ALL OF YOU WHO LAUGH AT MY IDEA OF COMPROMISE. WHAT IS THE STRATEGY AFTER 2012 IF OBAMA WINS RE-ELECTION, BUT REPUBLICANS CONTROL THE SAME OR A LITTLE MORE SEATS IN CONGRESS AFTER 2012????????? If many of you are waiting for Democrats to regain control of Congress, I think many of you are really putting yourselves in a tight spot because you will be screwed over if you discover that does not happen anytime soon.

Congressional Democrats and the President Obama must be determined and pester Republicans until a deal is reached on immigration.

Cool. I'm from Jalisco, Mexico.

What discourages you from pursuing a degree in Mexico? Is it the fact that you kind of have to start from "scratch"?

Cool. I support your dreams. If you do decide to return "home," I hope your dreams come true.

2Face, I have two questions for you: You say that waiting for the DA to pass feels like crap. How will you feel if you lived in Kenya, and you discovered that the DA passed not too long after you left? Would that news make you feel worse than the pain you feel now as a result of waiting for the DA to pass?

Immigration issue should be handled by locking down the senate (physically) and refusing to let anyone to the bathroom until we get cloture.
