Yes he did. Even if he would not pass a national dream act at least he would encourage other states to follow Texas, and California's example. However I still think that Perry would have a higher possibility of passing a some sort of DA/CIR because he himself is a Republican, and the GOP being the majority would only vote when they themselves would win.

You guys... The GOP doesn't stand a chance against our current President. Seriously, give it some thought, even with the economy still down, the GOP field is full of nutjobs and low runners who can't get the tea party vote. The GOP is doomed

If the current situation worsens, Obama is gone simple as that.

Being against illegal immigration is one thing, I can understand that. But you gotta be one cold-hearted individual to be against the Dream Act. So fuck 'em.

Perry's position on immigration: Secure the border before talking about CIR.

But he is the only one who has defined "securing the border".
For Mr Perry 4600 more agents will secure the border rather than building a wall wich is realistic & doable.
Perry is the man.

GOP is going down in flames next year. Obama is going to trounce anyone who runs against him. I would love to see Bachmann win GOP nomination just to see her dominated like Palin.

I'm waiting until the debates between Obama and whoever the Republican candidate is. But if the economy doesn't improve significantly over the next 12 months, he's going to have a fight on his hands no matter which moron is on the other side.

And the Republicans aren't playing politics with our lives? You're kidding, right?

The bottom line is that they are all playing politics with our lives. There may be one person who genuinely holds our interests at heart and that is Dick Durbin. Luis Guitierrez, may also be genuinely interested in helping us, but some times I wonder about even him.
