Kevin, i do understand you perspective, and i 100% want the DA to pass more than anything else. Yet, what has Reid done to improve DA's chances? Nothing. He needs to start doing something like comprimising and adding things like E-verify so we can get more votes. But Reid has been shown to do nothing but puting it up for a vote this year. Where's those extra votes going to come from that were missing last year????? This leads me to believe he's partially or wholeheartedly using us as a political tool more than anything.

This isn't fully true. Democrats have compromised over the years. Look how different DREAM Act is than it was 10 years ago. Democrats have been watering original DREAM Act down over the years. Let's not forgot that Republicans also did not vote last year to allow for the DREAM Act to be debated - to get past the Filibuster. They could have offered something like Rubio's proposal as an amendment. As exciting as the prospect of Rubio's proposal is, there is still the question of whether Rubio can persuade Republications to vote for it.
