Be wary... Rubio's smart, and he's no Gutierrez. He's still a part of the Tea Party, and he's not going to sacrifice that in order to help undocumented youth. He has to sell this to them; the fact they're not complaining as much as they could is a bad sign, not a good one.

Yup, and that someone also has never learned patience. There are no politicians specifically dedicated to the DA, so you can't just expect them to put out a bill very fast. They have to juggle with other things that MOST of the other Americans (yes, we're only a minority so face it) deem as more important.

Honestly, people need to wait for the bill to be introduced or at least wait for June to arrive. I don't think Marco Rubio is purposely going to lie about introducing a bill just to get attention. Do you guys realize how stupid that sounds? IF he never introduced it he would get an unprecedented amount of hate and questions by the mainstream media. He would NOT allow Democrats to use his "unfinished Dream Act 2.0" as leverage during an election year.

He will introduce the bill in June. It will be backed by some Republicans, and hopefully a lot more Democrats. I think our most prominent threat is with the Democrats themselves and the House of Representatives which at the moment is heavily controlled by Republicans.

Oh, he'll introduce it alright. It'll just suck beyond belief. He doesn't intend for this to pass, and he certainly doesn't intend for any comprehensive immigration reform to pass. There's nothing that makes me think that we can forget Rubio's past as the prince of the Tea Party.

Rubio's aching to put Democrats in a place where they can't criticize him effectively while leaving everyone else knowing they just can't put their finger on it...
