Also, it's nice to see fellow Chicagoans here. There will be a an event for deffered action applicants at Navy Pier on August 15th (60 days from when deferred action was announced by President Obama). Sen. Durbin is scheduled to be there. We should have a DAP meetup somewhere in the loop before the event and then walk over to Navy Pier!

I think this is just political theater meant to avoid demonstrations against Obama's horrid immigration record. If sympathetic immigrants get arrested and detained is very bad news for the Prez re-elevtion campaign whose HeADQUARTERS are in Chicago! So much for Rahm doing the right thing,what a joke. The only one I trust to speak and act with integrity in that city is Sen.Durbin.
