Dear Marco Rubio,
You had a chance to be Romney's VP with your Work authorization plan.
Too bad Obama beat you to it while you were pandering to latinos.

Yeah, I usually don't point out a certain person's race and cry unfair, but in this case, it's rather shameless that this is still in effect today. It's effectively legal illegal immigration from Cuba.

And I remember when people used to drink the kool-aid that Rubio was offering on this site. Those were darker days for this site I imagine.

no joke.
I can corroborate that, I know someone that did and the petition is in a special category as a result, however, its not without issues.

In Florida, I can imagine is common, but in other states where cuban immigrants are seldom found, which is where this person started the USC application process, they lost a lot of time because they where not used to the process and tried to send this person running in circles.

BTW, is Rubio still relevant?

I believe he could make a good switch when he was running for Senate, and he did something like that, but the timing that he chose also demonstrated that he was only pandering to the latino vote in hopes to look appealing to Romney as a VP pick that could bring the latino vote and is still on a similar page with many issues, including immigration.

Yes, he had meetings with immigrant youth organizations, and some people where hopeful, but those that had experience with the dirty game of policies from past experiences where a lot more cautious and called his bluff correctly, he backed down when Obama announced the deferred action and did not release the DREAM Act bill he was working on, which on many occasions he claimed had been written, but never released anything other than verbal statements about what it could probably contain.

All the Dreamers should. He can still pull the Hispanics from Obama right now.

I never believed for a minute Rubio would do anything good for us. The man ran his campaign on being hardline on immigration. He's a snake plain and simple. Anyone counting on him and the Republicans to pass the Dream Act needs to get their heads checked seriously. Our best hope is to help Obama and then work to get immigrant friendly candidates into Congress. That's pretty much it.

Dude stop getting your sources from Fox, I never ever rely on just one source. I search my stuff on multiple media outlets. Fox and MSNBC only show the news through their point of view, real journalists never ever share their personal opinion, they just deliver the news as they are the ones researching and on scene.
