I think its only normal to see people being hesitant with submitting personal information to immigration. I do hope that once people start receiving their EAD and acceptance of deferred action they will become reassured and begin submitting their forms. Then again, early 500 is a lot of money for some people and it might take people a while to save up for a passport and to pay for filing the applications. I just hope all dreamers are informed of this and find help in filling out the forms...

Looks like the people who sent their apps so far (including me) are going to be receiving their things much sooner than expected; good news. As for people being hesitant, their call and their life. They need to get more educated in these matters.

It's also entirely possible that some people just don't know about the program!

There was that guy who posted the thread a few days ago asking if he qualified -- and this guy has had an account here since february!

Whatever. Shorter wait time for me (this might explain why we've been processed so quickly)

There are people out there that still dont know about DACA.
Well it sucks to be them.

I gotta worry about "mee furst"

My mom always said that if people don't take advantage of life's rare opportunities, then it means that only the smart and driven few truly deserved such opportunities.

For all of us that applied before the election happens, it is a sign that we are courageous and willing to take a risk.

And I really hope that risk pays off big time.

I really need to have a job with paid vacation time and healthcare benefits :P
