So basically we DON'T need to wait for our SSN to arrive before applying for a CA ID? This makes me a bit more relieved and excited. My goal is to have an official ID before the first week of November.
EDIT: That form says if you're not 'presently eligible for one' .. but technically, we are. So..?

I'll be taking the form i got from SSA and tell them it's on the way. And I'll let them know when I get it.
