I actually have a healthcare and im from san francisco. Its good enuf for me to go to a clinic or public hospital without paying thousand of emergency bills.

after 3 years, yes.

I don't want healthcare, welfare, social security or any of the other stuff.

I'm content with just being able to work and drive legally!

Have u tried applying? U should be fine with it since youre already have the green card... What states are u from anyways?

That fine and all but are we going to be subject to the mandate's fine if we don't get health insurance? It would be unfair if that's the case since we are not going to be getting insurance subsidies from the government.

since i don't qualify for medi-cal/medi-care or anything else, i already am paying $350/mo. for health insurance. would have paid $250, but the "pre-existing condition" rule added another bill.

so this doesn't really affect me that much.
