Not just Obama.

Please make sure to spread the message of voting at your local and state levels. Taking back the House and Senate is also a huge priority.

I got a question.. so people who have i-94 are able to get married and change status if they marry a citizen right?
The ones who do not cannot go about this route... (to the best of my knowledge)
since deferred action provides no legal status (according to USCIS) will we be able to adjust our status if married? anyone smart enough to know this for sure?

(please no opinions calming how it "should be")

You know, I was actually wondering the same question. I mean, for those who EWI, marriage had always a risk of having to go back to their countries, and waiting for response, technically not deportation. With DACA, you have no lawful status, but you do have a protection from deportation. I am thinking it'd be easier for those who came here with a visa to adjust status, just like it'd be without DACA.

Usually what happen is u need to come back from your origin of country (ie mexico) then you need to wait about 3-5 years to come back here in the US. If you entered without any lawful status

DOMA has already been declared unconstitutional by 4-5 dictrict federal judges and the 1st circuit court of appeals by a unanimous decision.

It has not been exclusively the Democrats that have tried to overturn DOMA. It has been civil rights organizations and groups.

LGBT Americans tend to vote Democratic anyway so they already support immigration reform.
