No president has ever won an election without winning Ohio.

Very true. Obama does have some-points lead in Ohio right now and I hope it stays that way (or increases in favor of Obama). Also, according to analysts, Obama currently has 277 electoral votes vs 201 for Romney . You need 270 to win.

Bottom line, although there seems to be a movement of increasing support of Romney after the 1st debate, the math still adds up for an Obama win.

I sure hope he wins Ohio. Early voting has begun everywhere.

Two weeks and two days left!

It's possible that Romney will win the popular vote but lose the election. That's how the system is set up right now so that's why they campaign in the states that are on the bubble. Stay strong.

TexasDreamy, nice post. And you do have a point. The past isn't the best indicator of future events.

This election is not even close with the EV's.

Romney has a long of catching up to do.

Media is too hyped up about obsolete polls and tell us that the race is tied.

Let me correct you, No REPUBLICAN Candidate or Incumbent has ever won without carrying the state of Ohio. As of now, it shows that Obama is likely to carry Ohio by an almost 80% chance according to Nate Silver's forecast model.
