If they are willing to compromise on the issue and the Republicans say OK we''ll pass CIR but we have to take out birth right citizenship, I would take that deal in a heartbeat.

Even if they do. Who cares. That will not effect the undocumented anyway.

They can't even pass the dream act which has wide bi-partisan support. I wouldn't hold my breath for cir.

I do believe there is greater hope for Dream act now that the election has shown the importance for the GOP to adapt to changing demographics and the Hispanic vote.

That was in the lame duck session though plus it would have left out thousands of Dreamers.
Back in 2010 Lame Duck, it did not have much of a bipartisan support. We do now though.

We'll get rid of birthright citizenship when we get rid of the right to bear arms. In other word: when hell freezes over. They can't even win the presidency, yet they want to amend the Constitution?

And I thought pot is legal in Colorado and Washington only...

Get rid of birth right citizenship? That is the most radical view I've heard in my life and frankly where the GOP stands right now, they will never try to bring something ridiculous like that to the table. The founding fathers would kick that persons ass. If you're born in America, you are a citizen. This has absolutely nothing to do with our current immigration problems. Lets not get it more complicated.
