I don't know about the stars,but I think timing is everything with regards to getting anything done in DC.I think if they don't have a blueprint in the Senate before April of next year they're simply not serious and it would just be another Congressional game of punt and blame.Hopefully,they use the reset in DC wisely come the early part of the 113th Congress because I don't think they'll revisit immigration legislation at a later stage in the aforementioned Congressional cycle.

yeah, I agree with Ianus. If it happens, and it certainly looks like at least a bill will be put forth this time, it has to happen within the first six months of next year. That time frame allows repubs and moderate dems to vote for it and then try to separate themselves, if need be, from it for their re-election campaigns.

The issue has to be solved, something is going to happen.
