Although there's some truth to this, it's silly to say it'll happen in the 'next' election cycle. The exact same rhetoric has been repeated for the last few elections ("It'll be dealt with in the next election"), so now is as good of a time as any.

I think if it can't be done this year it won't be done the year after because of elections. After that dems will rule congress and a amazing deal will come out. But I rather have something now, even if its not as good. If Obama does executive amnesty it will be the reason that dems won't win prez elections next time. Lol sucks for Biden

Don't be surprised if Democrats aren't able to retake the House until 2020. The GOP gerrymandered districts to keep control of the House in 2010, and you won't see them lose control up until 2018-2020 when the new census is taken. This will be the moment the Democrats seize to finally bury the GOP and make them irrelevant. A lot of GOP are accusing Obama of trying to destroy the GOP, imo I think the GOP are doing that themselves.
