The bill has only been recently filed so probably won't be able to see the text until next week and is HR 435.Here is what it says in the Congressional record.
Quote:
By Mr. COFFMAN:

H.R. 435. A bill to amend title 10, United States Code, to authorize the enlistment in the Armed Forces of additional persons who are residing in the United States and to lawfully admit for permanent residence certain enlistees who are not citizens or other nationals of the United States; to the Committee on Armed Services, and in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned.

Personally, I would absolutely join. Not for a piece of paper, but to server my country. Yes, the US might be a corporation run by a bunch of corrupt greedy a**holes. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't those who dedicate their lives to see that complete and utter destruction of this country. And if im given a chance to defend my country then i will use all my skills and abilities to do so. After all, we are here able to say and think what we want because someone at one point or another in history gave their live in the protection of this great country.

You don't have to do anything, its just a choice. If all you are looking for is a green card or USC, I dont suggest you join the military. For me a GC or USC is a bonus for the opportunity to serve.

Military only is not passing, this is pointless.

Why is this foolio introducing another standalone Military Dream Act bill when CIR is being handled in both the Senate and House by bipartisan groups?
