How many of us illegal immigrants know their fellow illegal immigrants who can afford 10k a head? I know I don't.

Anything larger than 3k~4k is approaching the realm of "Well, we don't want to legalize them, but we gotta pass something so..."

Furthermore, they should expect to present proof of payment of taxes of EACH year they have been present in the United States. Can't wait until this bill is released.
We came to the conclusion that saving $3,000 to $5,000 would be a safe estimate for my mother. I doubt anything we DREAMers have to pay, if we have to pay any penalties at all, will be as expensive.

As far as the proof of tax filings, that may be rather difficult for some people to present if they were working in cash the entire time they have been here and they didn't have an ITIN/SSN to file taxes. So, I think they may give people the period of interim status to get caught up with the IRS and deal with anything they may owe.

I certainly hope it's released this week. They go on break for Easter at the end of this week (March 25th to April 5th).

You do know that you need half million for the investor Visa right and you have to create jobs? Correct me if I am wrong.

How about this? The higher an undocumented is willing to pay, the faster the path to USC?

Honestly if it ends up being 10 grand I'd still do it, I love this country too much and I don't plan going back to a place that I do not even know anything or anyone.

Obviously, if its lower thats even better . I really just want a peace in my mind and not have the fear of hiding.

That whole sentence is so badly written I can't possibly correct it.

So, if I chuck at them $50,000, I can become USC as soon as next month?

On other news, the word "shit" is okay to say on television. The word "republican" has been added to the curse words list.

Thank you.
Lol, people who can purchase citizenship don't go down very well with the general American public. Also, it flies in the face of the "integrity" of the immigration system. People who can purchase their citizenship, excuse me, "invest" their way into other societies don't hold any allegiance to those countries. As soon as a better deal opens elsewhere, they'll go there. And once a citizen, you don't have any obligation to reside in your country of citizenship.

Citizenship shouldn't just be a financial transaction.

10k a person? are you guys serious? i probably know like 2 people that would be able to pay that and that's it. the fine wont be extremely high because you don't want 10 million people to stop spending in other things when the country has been struggling with consumer confidence ratings. or should we slow down the economy eve more? remember its 10 or 11 million people not just 100 k

It is $500,000. Look up Investor Visa. I think you also have to create jobs?
