I hope its affordable thought
I was just throwing a number. I personally think that is way too much. It should be about a G per head. Most of these folks prob work for minimum wage if not less. But at the same time, we must make the sacrifice once and for all. Lets just hope they include all the provisions of Dream Act in it. Just give green cards to us and travel authorization to everyone else.

Even if it is $100K per to get a chance a GC after 10 years. That is fair in my opinion. That is saving $10K per year only. One would have to just save $833.33 per month.

Applying for Residency is 1,490 + 595 when applying for citizenship to a total of $2085 not including a lawyer so an additional 3,000 doesn't sound like a lot more to me but it will be expensive nonetheless. Is the "5,000" extra or are all the fees in there?
