I just checked the Dream Act provisions in the old version of CIR,which I think will be somewhat similar to the gang of 8 bill, doesn't have an age limit that I could find.

I think that Republicans will want to lower the age cap down to 25 years of age. I hope not, but i am just speculating.
I hope there isn't an age cap.. Shouldn't someone who's 40 and been here for 30yrs as deserving as someone who's 20 and been here for 5yrs?

For Dreamers: I wonder what the age caps are? Any Retro?

Group II seems complicated. What kind of family relationship and what kind of employment relationship? This only applies to Overstays but not EWI's?

What is the guarantee of I-601 Relief?

Apply for family based and/or employment based in home country and when can they return?

What if someone has a I-130 pending now?

Group III: After 10 years on PLS then the PLS would can apply directly for GC or get a sponsor like family or employment? What if the undocumented has a I-130 pending now? After 10 years, wait in the long line? I wonder how long is that line? After 10 years of PLS, is it renewable?

You think they will add Retro with no cap? 34 or under? 35 or under?

In my opinion, the longer someone has been here undocumented the more they deserve.

Group III: The rest of other undocumented immigrants: They will be given a “provisional legal status” if they come out of the closet, pay fines and back taxes, and learned English.. The provisional legal status would allow them to live, work and travel in the country legally

travel in the country legally

in the country?

really?

People with out authorization of being here CANNOT travel in the country because they don't even have authorization of being here in the first place. So this make sense. That path gives them a legal authorization status and thus can now travel about their business

Group II: Undocumented immigrants with a family or an employment relationship that would allow them to apply for legal status but for their EWI (Entry Without Inspection) by crossing the borders and subject to 3-year bar or 10-year bar. Reportedly, this group may receive the relief of waiver of unlawful presence which is more or less similar to the current provisional waiver of unlawful presence, I-601K relief. This relief will require them to apply for either family-based or employment-based immigrant visa at the American consulate in their home countries with the relief of waiver of 3-year or 10-year bar from unlawful presence in the United States. There appears to be one string attached to this relief, to wit, that they should complete a series of hurdles including paying fines and back taxes and learning English.
And what exactly do they plan to do about people who are visa overstays? Or would this have to apply to them as well since they are also subject to the 3-year and 10-year bans?
