My understanding is that there is no need to extend 245i because once this bill is passed, all the qualifying undesirables Err Undocumented Americans will now have lawful entry and can readjust their status if they either already have an I-130 petition or something new comes up like getting married, employment, becoming a millionaire, becoming really tall and being able to dunk a basketball, etc...

In the absence of that, they gotta wait the 10 years or however long it takes to secure the border...and for the dreamers it's 5 years if they are cool and stay in school.

This seems unfair to those who marry a USC.

or unfair about those who have been waiting decades their petition, or those who entered legally, or have USC kids, or (insert w/e thing you think you have that is a PLUS for your personal benefit)
