Kobach is what Sessions would look like if he was a lawyer. Seriously, check out what this guy has done http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kris_Kobach

He has built an entire career and name for himself based around illegal immigration, going after instate tuition for undocumented students and drafting Arizona's draconian law. However, when he was chairman of the Kansas Republican Party state and federal taxes weren't paid, illegal contributions were accepted and questionable expenditures were made..

He's also linking the current immigration reform with the Boston bombing. He says one of the suspects went through two background checks and a personal interview with the FBI “and they were still unable to prove he had terrorist intentions and should be barred from the country and that was far more scrutiny than these aliens will have.”

Anyway, I'm glad the nation as a whole has come around and even the GOP is now fractured in their opinion toward this bill. Kobach is becoming irrelevant day by day.

Recently the UWD (United We DREAM) collected more than 90 law professor's signatures around the country asserting the authority President Obama has to make administrative changes to immigration like the deferred action the announced on June the 15th.

We'll see how this pans out, but I don't see how directing the government agencies resources to achieve their goals is outside of the scope of President Obama's power.

Can somebody explain what might happen if they do succeed? Will the administration bring it to a higher court?

Wow! This man has made a career out of going against us! He has even done lawsuits in states that aren't his! It takes a lot of hate for someone to go so out of their way to do the things he has done.

I also plan on writing him letters as I reach every single one of my goals. He needs to see who we are, and what he will be unable to stop!

They will definitely, and its more than likely a higher court would overturn what this one would do. Until then DACA would be either not allowed in the jurisdiction of the court (Northern Texas only) or Feds would outright ignore it (keep in mind that courts have no executive powers, so Obama would have to enforce the ruling against himself, same problem that happened in Malbury v. Madison), they might knock out the service center in Dallas, but that one hardly ever does anything.

The ruling would only affect the part in brown.
