Then what was the point of offering DACA to 20-something to 31 yr-old high-school dropouts? Some are struggling to enroll, let alone finish a GED program. And we all know a GED is nowhere the same academic preparation for college that completion of public education curricula (a High School diploma) offers.

I'm also in agreement of something that is fair and I don't oppose the educational requirements, but I do believe that once the DA legislation begins to be tinkered with AGAIN, it will fall apart. The way it is written as of now is more than fair.

a bachelor's degree is very fair. financial reasons are not an obstacle anymore because you can now obtain a work permit. i hope they add this requirement!!

Personally, I am a senior so I will graduate next year, so it sounds good to me. Also, I got an internship with excellent pay this summer, so I couldn't be happier at this time. No more whining, DACA is a huge help, but we need to keep moving forward.
What about loans to complete the 4 year? I really like this proposal overall.

I love it. What if a Dreamer has a 4 year Bachelor already. Just sit back and relax and wait 5 years?

A Dreamer who already has a Bachelor's can just wait 5 years right?

I think completing a 4 year degree should be enough to be done in 5 years. Loans?

I agree.

Why not move to a state that does?

It is not impossible.

Why do you need DACA if the Dreamer is qualified under the DA requirement?

DACA was a political move for Obama to win elections. They should have added the 31+ Dreamers. A high school dropout without a GED is not Dreamer.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha, ad infinitum.

Also, "I love it. What if a Dreamer has a 4 year Bachelor already. Just sit back and relax and wait 5 years?" Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah, ad infinitum.

DAUser, stop pretending to be a Dreamer. Sit back and wait for five years? Really? Do you not want a LIFE? A wife? Kids? Work? Really.

DA user has show multiple times to be under the age of 15 trying to pretend hes older than he is. He says hes 30 but overall, his personal online does show that at all. He routinely asks questions, the articles being questions, explain. Hes really just waiting for someone to simplify stuff for him.

Hes defense is being a smart ass and trying to answer as literally as he can. His sarcasm is really quite assuming how he does it so casual.
