Think about Edward Snowden.

A natural born American citizen who defects from the US to China is a CLEAR FACT that the US citizenship is becoming trash with the decline of this country.

Yeah, he deflected to Hong Kong because he released files he was not authorized to release. The USA government was right when they damage control the PRISM program that it happened once and no one gave a shit. After having read PRISM, this shit has been happening right under our noses for a long time.

I remember talking to a conspiracy nut once and his concern was the USA tracking everyone with chips. Its funny now that I think about it because I told him how stupid that would be as they don't even need to put chips on us, we gladly let them know where we are, what we are doing, what we are liking. (If you haven't figured it out, think about your smartphone) And guess what? The government has been spying us through our smartphones, actually through virtually any means accessible to it.

And it doesn't matter where you leave you, China is virtually no different when it comes to spying on its people, if the USA wanted. Every country is in it and there is no escaping, This is just a small piece to come, sadly

I support spying. In fact, spying is nothing wrong, as long as it makes the country safer. Privacy is SHIT compared with safety.

I really don't have a problem with this because before PRISM was out, we were fine with companies gathering our information but suddenly they give it to the government and now its the worse thing ever?

We all hate it but lets be honest, we are really going to do anything about it? The American people has been conditioned to learn to adapt to this. I am not saying it has been a plot where the media and everyone is involved but it certainly looks like it.

My problem with this is how reliable the government is at storing our information and historically speaking, they are not. Hackers are always releasing logs of passwords and accounts for the luzs. Whats to stop t hem from hacking NSA and doing the same?

Really thought people are freaking out about this scandal more than they should. Yeah we make a big deal about this but whats going to happened half a year from now? We will all forget about it

There is no 100% security. There are hackers. I just hope the American government can do whatever it takes to keep our information safe. But spying or surveillance is needed. I would like the government to keep us from being attacked by terrorists at the cost of *privacy*.

What truly bothers me is this:

In the PAST: The Chinese came to the US to become asylum.

In the PRESENT: The Americans go to China to become asylum.

if you got nothing to hide then people shouldn't worry,
security is never guaranteed but if it can make the country a little safer then some surveillance isn't the end of the world

Yeah no this mentality has got to go man and actually yes, it is the end of the world. It totally goes agaisnt what this country is all about. Remember Nazi Germany? They got started by spying on their people, The Soviet did it too, Mao did it, North Korea does it. And these are or were countries this nation criticized a lot. I am not saying America is Nazi Germany but it doesn't talk much to see patterns here.
