I don't know of anyone who is excited about the Senate bill. I am talking about undocumented immigrants who are educated, undocumented immigrants who are illiterate, DREAM act beneficiaries, DACA beneficiaries, H1B workers, etc.

That should tell you something. The itty bit, glimmer of hope I have had by the Senate bill not excluding 'aged-out' DREAM Act beneficiaries, is ebbing away.

Trying to predict how this whole process will unfold will drive you nuts eventually to be honest. There are many variables involved and it is still too early,I think,to see what reasonable outcome may come of this.I think we were fairly warned that the House was going to difficult but creating an artificial conclusion on what maybe leaves no hope for the possible, imo.

Yeah, just "enjoy" the ride as they say. Know that you can't control what happens in Congress and focus your energies instead on what you can control with your own life.

Probably not without being watered down some more...which is why we should have been more grateful instead of saying things like "I don't like it because it doesn't kiss our butt enough".

I will be taken care of if it passes. And I am grateful to have the age cap removed from the DA portion of the legislation. I worry about other things. They are allowing you to stay and live here, but they WANT you to struggle. It's almost morbid; as if they believe that you haven't struggled enough to deserve status. You MUST struggle more.

But, it's already an extremely wasteful bill, it is NOT a fair and balanced immigrant labor bill, and in all honesty, it's become a Republican bill.

We do not need a quick process to citizenship. We really need a non-stressful legal status for a normal life. We should not waste our life waiting for the citizenship. Forget the citizenship and enjoy your life, then we will get it finally.
