You go home. All this joke around will end up making DAP nothing but a big joke. Yeah humor is good but there's a section for that. We are talking about August recess; this is serious stuff. Then again, you may not know it.

You have realized this just now? EVERY single thread on here is reserved for making fun of one individual and its only two or three members who keep doing this as if they own DAP. In fact I am glad I stopped my monthly recurring donation. The mods obviously don't care so why should we. When I say every thread, I mean every thread even in the News section where we're trying to get up to date with latest CIR news. Quantity over quality seems to be reigning supreme. Nuff said. It's sad.

Thank you for your sincere reply. It is so sad but the fact that you also "see" what's happening gives me a tiny speck of hope this culture could hopefully change. I'm a new member who was more than willing to donate but given the lightness which with many take on these issues is hard to justify any donation. Who would willingly throw their money at second tier clowns?

I will also take quality over quantity any time. You right, 'nuff said.

I do agree that there's a few members who continually make derogatory and unhelpful comments and I think it derails from the serious and steadfast tone that our movement should have. It's not a huge deal if an important piece of news is posted and the first reply is a one sentence joke or an offensive remark but the few of us that post in this forum (out of the hundreds that merely browse) are representative of Dreamers. How would we feel if a person on the fence of supporting CIR nonchalantly searches for information, finds this forum, clicks on the first subforum (the News section) and sees these kinds of responses?

Just saying that we should try to keep those kinds of comments and catfights to private messages or the Off-Topic section.

EDIT: Not directing this specifically at the "new avatar" concern.

C'mom people (those who actually care) lets continue to press forward and bring about much needed social change.
I seem to remember you going off-topic yourself once. I had a good laugh. But, it's alright. I understand. You got in trouble last time and now you want to be behave.

Well, judging from the article it seems to me the Democrats are the only ones on our side. The meetings are proof of this. Meanwhile the Republicans continue to say 'no.' Hopefully, in August when the left and right come together the right can offer some sort of compromise. The GOP cannot continue the right-wing extremism if it hopes to survive. Any sane person would have realized this when President Obama won a second term. Now, the midterm elections are on the approach. Evolve or die.

In terms of moving forward and bringing about "social change" lead the way, "The Walker."

Agreed. Some posters need to grow the hell up and stay focused on what we're trying to pass instead of fighting with each other.

Actually, you should check your facts before you let your tasteless comments surface on real life. I wasn't the one in trouble since I never offended anyone but so it happened somebody else did while erroneously quoting me. ha ha your little friends around here should be better than that and give you more in-depth details. If the GOP hopes to survive? ha ha do you really think you are in a position to bash on the GOP and gauge their existence just because they refuse to work on CIR? hahah that is ludicrous and so its your opinion. Be remineded, in their eyes, you are smaller than a grain of salt at sea so you should play your role accordingly poodle.
