Thank you. How many threads did people start just talking about getting emails? txt messages? Graphing wait times and doing statistical analysis based off of service centers. And you wouldn't be depressed if you're the last of the last and ppl who submitted months LATER are getting approved?

There's always light at the end of the tunnel, even if it's just getting through. There's one option that I would of have pursued if DACA didn't come through. It was to just go back to Mexico and study there. Who cares if I don't know anyone, just meet new people and relearn the language. Once I have an education, it's easier to get a visa and migrate legally.

i guess the kid was only like 19 i believe , fresh out of high school , and frustration set in , pretty much reality , it was on the news and everything , and well , we werent in his shoes , so we cant really talk for him , all im saying is , have sympathy , we dont know what this kid edwin lopez is going thru .

Yes, but everyone is different. How do we know what his situation might be? He might not be from Mexico. And there are plenty of people with DACA who are not Hispanic and face difficulties if they went back to their home countries. Me included (not to mention the airfare).

I just feel bad that we don't have compassion for people who are similar to us. How in the world do we expect compassion from others? Don't people rag on Cubans for this very reason within the Hispanic community re: immigration?

Well, now that everyone is trying to jam down their applications to USCIS, it is bound to take longer than expected. It sucks that he feels depressed because it's taking so long. He should be glad that something good is happening his way.

This might anger some posters here , but my cousin was given a green card in high school because she was suicidal. She would run away from home and when she told a social worker she would kill herself because she was illegal and would never acomplish anything... Green card.
