Seriously though if you qualified back in 2001, you should still qualify for a future Dream Act
Not in the 2010 DA that failed.

Which would mean a 43 age cap, it makes sense to have an age cap even if you qualified for it years ago, think about it this way, someone who is 60 and is undocumented, can't they argue they were a dreamer? Wasn't everyone young at one point and had hopes and ambitions to do something in this country? Time just passed and what they could do at 18 they couldn't do at 60 so the age cap makes sense.

No. The other DA versions had Retroactive Provisions which means if you completed the education requirements in those years than the Dreamer would be qualified regardless of age. The age cap would remain at 35.

You can accomplish stuff at 60 also. Age is just a number.
