How else are you going to stop a government that tortures and murders its citizens after many diplomatic attempts to reason? People that use chemical weapons on children are NOT fellow human beings. I assume you refer to people that want to join the military?

Ahh repeating what you hear/saw from the propagandist main stream news media, is there's any solid evidence that Syrian government officials used chemicals weapons, have you seen this evidence for yourself? How do you know it wasn't the terrorist-rebels that used those weapons? The point I'm trying to make is your opinion is being manipulated. None of us know what is really is going on in Syria, the information we receive through mass media outlet is fallacious, manufactured to gain your consent for another war which does not benefit you but the same criminals that engineered, orchestrated the illegal Iraq war, same tactics are being used again.

You think it's a good idea to support subhumans that eat the hearts of other human beings?

While I understand the perspective you've taken, I hate to inform you of the long history of Syria's corrupt government. I have friends with families that ran away from their country due to this very same problem. This was over 5 years ago. A corrupt government doesn't occur overnight, it is long established before signs start to appear.
People running away from their country are not people that eat hearts. Just because one person does something it doesn't mean the whole group does it. I thought this was obvious. While I do appreciate your over skeptical personality, it seems like you're inclined to the same broad conspiracy theories. While they may be right, it still leaves little room to exercise critical thinking, since these ideas seem to be the answer to every problem. Being skeptical is a great trait that expands the mind, just don't let it do the opposite.

By the way, how can you ask for proof of that? Do you want a video of an official holding his birth certificate and paperwork showing he is indeed an official, while simultaneously pressing a button and at the same time filming the chemicals going off at people holding a paper saying theyre innocent civilians? There's no solid proof for anything.

I'm just putting the pieces together. The U.S long avoiding getting involved with syria, syria's corrupt goverment, and the waves of syrians trying to escape their country. It seems good enough for me to be suspicious.

You make valid points, however starting a war should be avoided at all cost. People in the U.S. should worry about corruption at home not overseas, but the controlled media don't report on those stories they tell you what serves their best interest not yours.

Syria UN envoy says rebels used chemical weapons

Syria’s envoy to the UN Bashar Jaafari on Wednesday accused rebel forces of using chemical weapons to “bring about military intervention and aggression against Syria.” Many facts “tend to prove the innocence of the Syrian government, which has been subject to false accusations,” AFP quoted the ambassador as saying. The West and Turkey “have enabled terrorist groups to create a laboratory for chemical weapons on Turkish territory with materials provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar… and to bring these chemical weapons to Syria for use,” he said.

I agree that war should be the last option, but chemical weapons are a whole different situation. Think of a second Agent Orange being used. That's something that has to be stopped, no matter how it affects diplomacy.

By the way, I strongly agree the U.S should not get involved, and the UN should take measures, but sadly no other country cares enough to do something about it.
I understand the possibility of it being used for ulterior motives, but what does the U.S have to gain?

Think for a second, Syrian officials know if they used chemical weapons they would be invaded by outside aggressors, so why would they do it? They didn't, the terrorists-rebels did.

What does the U.S. have to gain by invading Syria, just Google that line you'll be amazed by what you learn. I think it's better if you make this discovery for yourself.

The U.S. is a warmongering nation, they need war to to prevent economic collapse. The late President Eisenhower warned Americans about the military industrial complex, but they obviously didn't heed the warning.

One of the most significant American presidential speech.

Their government has been pushing how far they can go for a while now. It doesn't seem like they care much about repercussion.
I still can't find any significant reason as to why the U.S would intervene. Not only would it not be economically beneficial, it would create more hatred towards the american government. Everyone is watching closely and they know this. The only reason that makes sense is that they truly believe the situation is getting out of hand.

Resources.
You should know there's always profiteers in war.

Look at where Syria is on the map, it is a very valuable strategic location.

Now that's something. Its location is indeed valuable. However, I don't think the U.S is planning to take over or try the same fail tactics of trying to set up a new government that people will reject. I guess only time will tell.
Thanks for the information though, always good to keep an eye on these things.
