Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

He's smart, he's taking a page from Obama's playbook. If Obama can garner Latino votes just by giving DREAMers two years of semi-legality, surely Republicans can get votes by giving six years of legal status to all undocumented people. Judging from some of the posters on this forum, there are many who identify with Republicans even when these politicians actively stall CIR. Imagine how many would turn Republican overnight when they get six years of legal status, even though Democrats are shooting much higher, for LPR / citizenship.
