Still not seeing the problem here - that argument has been going FOR DECADES. you might as well say the same thing about illegal immigration if you don't already do

If these kids are rich, they can go to whatever colleges they want. Colleges like rich kids. Your own kids may not get admitted because colleges are busy admitting rich foreign kids who are born to be US citizens.

I did not mention anything about illegal immigration. You mentioned it.

Whether you see the problem or not does NOT matter.

We prefer to keep education opportunities for people who are already here, including the Hispanics, the Asians, the Indians, etc.

We will not share our resources with the entire world.

Other people will see the problem. It does not matter if you do not see it.

That is true but rich people mostly apply to Rich private schools - you know private places - and no not everyone sees this as an issue or else more media platforms would be all over it. Racist republicans dislike asians as much as hispanics and would be all over this trying to remove citizenship at birth using this as an example

Stop cheating yourself and people around us. Foreign kids go to all sorts of schools.

Your kids, my kids, kids of people who are already here will be further marginalized by these foreign anchor babies who are born to be Americans.

It is not just school. Also for jobs, among many other things!!

Are you also saying: No worry. Kids of rich people get high paying jobs. So, I am not worried because my kids will not go for high paying jobs? -----Is this your opinion, as well?

Exactly how many rich Chinese can afford to spend months in USA and pay childbirth here? Hundreds a year? Thousands? It's a drop in the bucket. If they're rich enough to afford it, they're typically rich enough to go for the best private schools and universities, where they pay full price like everyone else. Knowing the behavior of rich Chinese, they would go for the most expensive and prestigious schools they can afford.

Even if the kid decides to go to a state college, his mom and dad still send hundreds of thousands of dollars from China. That's hundreds of thousands of dollars of Chinese money coming to USA, per child.

America is America because it values immigrants. The kind of people who want to repeal the 14th amendment are usually the most racist ones. They're not the kind of people I want to associate myself with.

Looks like you are not well informed about China. See how many tourists from China are visiting the US on a daily basis. You need to travel there to see what it is like.

It does not have to be rich Chinese who can afford to come to the US to give birth. Even ordinary Chinese can afford to do so.

There is no justification for the 14th amendment. Unlike other amendments, the 14th amendment is effectively sharing the US with the entire world. Stupid enough law. The amendment was created to protect slaves. However, these days, it is used to SELL the US citizenship to the world for CHEAP.

I used to live in Cd. Juarez growing up. Some of my neighbors were born in El Paso, TX. They didn't have to pay thousands of dollars for their kids to be born in the US. They simply crossed the border to give birth, AND apply for all the benefits: food stamps, WIC, and low income stipend (or whatever you call it) PER child. I never really understood what the big deal was, till I moved here. These people would still live in Juarez and use some random relative's address in El Paso to apply for these benefits. They still do it. And sometimes I see posts on Facebook "$50 for $100" of food stamps. These kids still live in Mexico, but they're American citizens and don't even speak English. I always wondered how I could report this type of behavior. Like seriously, this makes me so angry.
