Yes they did. And we suffered for 29 years (since the last amnesty). Remember the calves the size of cantaloupes? The difference is we have waited and suffered through this for much longer.

Playing Devil's Advocate here, if they benefited from the amnesty, they probably moved on with their lives, and didn't give two fucks about anything else...lol...

Well first of all, none of us have had amnesty and as a direct result of these brats, any relief we get will be delayed. Second, many of those who did get amnesty are the same people voting Republican or not voting at all knowing full well what their actions mean for us.

Right like how other immigrants are complaining how DACA will slow down their progress of getting some. "Well DACA hasnt benefit my cause!"

The majority who did benefit from that Reagen amnesty were Mexican, and I have kept saying this, lationo people are republicans who agree with White republicans on everything but immigration. But you don't see these people who benefited from that amnesty, calling DACers brats.

So as that guy said, why can some of you people who got DACA (which is more than what you had in the first place) leave this kids and move on?

This is slowing down progress? Come on, everything is slowing down an I.R what really slowed it and until now still has an impact is 9/11. I can still remember all the talk about change and Dream Act in August of 01 and then, 9/11 adios everything.

A reform will not happened under these republicans controlling the house. It won't happen until they are long gone and some competent people take charge of it. Anything will be used as an excuse to slow down a reform. In fact, if we are crying how these kids coming here is slowing down a reform or something, we might as well say how DACA did as well. It was what an estimate 1.7 MILLION "brats" would benefit from it, 1.7 MILLION people held down something from happening. And you guys are saying how less than 100K kids are going to slowing a movement that has long been dead that Obama has to use some of his executive power?

Everyone has their own battles, one of the battles for people who did not benefit from anything yet (for example IamAman) is they want theirs first before any newbies get theirs first. It is a reasonable want.

Now many people are on the verge of getting their temp relief soon from Obama, so maybe or maybe it won't affect the relief outcomes for the kids at the border. If there was a choice to either give the kids relief or give everybody else already settled in the country, I would understand the people already in the country wanting theirs. Life is a bitch, you gotta take what you can get.

I also understand the kids at the border, their kids, we get it, precious cargo. God bless them if they get relief.

You keep bringing up these DACAers that are "hell bent" on going against the new influx of kids. Who exactly? Is every DACA beneficiary against these kids? I'm just asking considering I am neutral about all of this, and I have yet to see some kind of DACA uprising who are trying to make sure those kids get no relief.

I just don't understand which DACAers you are referring to that are hating on the kids, if you mean some of the replies on this site, well what can you do. There will always be different viewpoints.
