My parents got their papers about 6 years ago. Every day I'm thankful that they got their paperwork so I don't have to worry about them (well aside still helping them) even though they are too old now to take full advantage of it. I kind of get not caring about other immigrants but it takes a special type of person to not care about his parents for the fear that in 2 years, his renewal process might be delayed. It sounds like he already got his EAD twice now.

Looks like we have a future Ted Cruz in the group.

Well Obama is off on his trip to Asia. They will definitely put this off till last week of December and IF nothing happens before this, then we can put this issue to rest, it will never happen. The more this is delayed, the higher the risk we run to making it into a 2016 election issue.

This is guy is willing to screw millions of people, including his parents, for the sake of his renewal time

If anything, the Dems want it to be an issue that pushes the Republicans further to the right (i.e. more idiots saying we should self-deport).

And when Obama comes back we'll have to deal with a surge of illegals coming to the u.s carrying Ebola so they can get free treatment , food stamps and unemployment. But wait, there's more! They're also ISIS members!!!

I think it would either be around Thanksgiving or Christmas present type thing. Also, people are busy with their lives so it would be less outrage by the natives.

Just a quick word on this. Let's understand that everyone's situation is a bit different and we can't fully realize what someone is saying and why they're saying it and what their family situation is. I know fl dreamer personally. SHE is not like how you're probably thinking. Let's face it. This wait time has really been frustrating for a lot of us and some times we can't hold back on expressing ourselves. Let's hope the upcoming announcement includes ALL people who have been here for a significant amount of time. I definitely think its long over due and they will definitely have the capacity to deal with it. That's not our concern. They delayed it. Let them deal with it.
