My mom and dad are the beneficiaries of an i-130 since 1999. They were approved in the year 2000 through my dad's sister, which happens to be a citizen. They have been waiting for almost 15 years now to get their green card,. I really do believe Obama should also help people that have been approved through relative petitions. I'm still hoping he will include my parents in the daca.

End of the road for those people. Obama is leaving in 2016. He has sealed his legacy. There will never be a CIR in this country. The onus is now on us DACA beneficiaries to earn so much money and use it to help our parents live in comfort. End of the day Obama is done with his immigration game and secured his legacy among immigrants as a "savior" who did an "executive order" and among Republicans as the deporter in chief. Started with a SUPER FUCKING MAJORITY and during the last hour of his presidency issues prosecutorial discretion. Total Fail. But congratulations to all those who will qualify!

Willing to bet a million bucks on the fact that the administration deliberately left 31 and over ages dreamers out of DACA and planned for this very day to include them and make a big deal about it. NO DISRESPECT to anyone. I am super stoked for everyone who will become eligible for work permits but I cannot fathom my parents not being included. It is what it is.
