did your references asked about YOUR status??

few of my reference don't know anything about my status... i did know him for more than 10 years but haven't met or had contact for the last 10 years... but I asked him for it and he said yes because he is also in the national guard...

I enlisted late january and still waiting for to get interviewed...

so basically after enlistment, we wait for

1) interview (me and the references)
2)NIAC
3)SSBI
???

is this it??

and I also have 9month wait....

Since your DACA, favorable NIAC wont do you any good, but its still a must for the general process of MAVNI

OPM guy will put all of that down...whether if you tell your closest friends about your status. Some people do, some people dont.

Does anyone know if Marine Corps is accepting MAVNI applicants?
I'm actually interested in going in country especially since they started allowing women in infantry now....

No Marines do not.

Air force is currently filled, so is Navy.

Army have about 2000 slots left and no language caps

My first drill with my unit is in March 19-20 I am pretty excited. Anyways my BCT is in November 21st and I haven't heard any signs of SSBI investigator calling. Any insight on when they start interviewing people?

Could be anywhere between now - 9 months plus lol. I saw that the current log/timeline for SSBI is about 7 to 9 months anyway, would just wait diligently since you've signed and is a done deal pretty much.

I'm doing my OPI in probably couple of weeks and on the home stretch, practicing my native tongue like a fool right now.
