I don't think I could handle not looking at the results until the 9th.

I will be watching the results live into the night...lol...

Worst case scenario for us is trump dropping out of the race -or winning, which will not happen. We were pretty lucky dodging lunatic Cruz but we might not be if GOP has to choose a trump replacement.

Is it a significant possibility that if the GOP replaces Trump, the new candidate could beat Hillary?

If Trump were to drop out, I would suspect the Republican campaign would crumble, and Hillary would win with a gigantic landslide with Green Party / Independents / etc. fighting over whats left of the Republican voters, and Democrats cruising to victory?

If Trump drops out there is hardly any time to select a candidate. Plus he will already be locked on the ballot in some states and the GOP would not be able to add their candidate to ballots in many states. Clinton is sure to win. People are listening to much to polls, even when they show her winning, the real prediction lies in the electoral college which favors democrats. That and add in socially conservative older generations dying off being replaced by socially liberal younger generations and it is a recipe for disaster for the GOP. The GOP only wins in midterm elections and because of congressional district gerrymandering.

The GOP is a dying party no doubt about that but we need them to lose now. I mean lose the HOUSE and the Senate otherwise they still have the power to obstruct legislation. UHH so frustrating when you have bills like the DREAM Act still not passed in 2016.

It's highly probable they will lose the senate and ultimately the Supreme Court this election. The house is questionable but we might see some moderate republicans ease up on social issues and vote against the party for their reelection. Much like certain senators have distanced themselves from trump.

Don't get too excited over polls guys, its a known fact the polls are rigged and polling methodologies are broken this year.

Dont get me wrong, I'd love for clinton to win and ease this burden off my back, hell I'd be first in line in the marines recruiting station, no car, just run to the recruiting station off of adrenaline at the burden being lifted.

That's not true. The fact is Clinton is winning states Obama won twice, and then some. People pay too much attention to polls and ignore the electoral college leanings of each state, our country is very divided amongst ideological lines. Hillary will outperform Obama's 08 victory.
