The OP obviously fears deportation first of all. Also the OP stated the measly wages from the old job. Third of all the OP expresses their desire for a higher education. The OP obviously is concerned and had feelings, not like a couch potato. But I'm just going to mind my own business on this one. And if a dreamer that was left out of DACA wrote a post about life in shambles, I am sure they would get support to. Everyone handles things differently. That's pretty much it.

OP, Life is what we make of it. No one owes us anything, not your family, not this government, not this country. You must keep that in mind, and find your purpose in life. Don't ever compare yoursef to others because your struggle has made you into what you are today. Imagine, your perfect all american next door neighbor, if tomorrow they have to deal with a situation like ours, I think they would fall apart! Do not be a victim of your situation, because the only thing we have is our will power and perseverance. Keep on fighting, my friend.

That's over the top, the man hasn't even taken the job yet but you already quit yours. Giving up already when the game hasn't even began.

Yeah this right here, we're facing the same doom; going jobless. Ill tell you what OP, the only way i'll ever move on is by being deported, and ill fight that as much as I can. People protested for a program like DACA for years, people went to jail. These past 4 years to me have been amazing! because I was doing what I've wanted to do for so long, work and attend college.

We're all here trying to pick each other up! but you must not allow yourself to falter.

OP is precisely why trump won't cancel daca. Imagine reading these stories or the media response. Stay strong OP you don't know what can happen. A month ago none of us expected a trump win. Who knows what will happen. Have faith that good will always prevail.

We all felt the same way when we heard Trump won. Believe me, I was depressed the first few days and even cried. But don't come to the worst scenario right away. Look at how much Trump has backtracked on most of his campaign rhetoric. He is definitely not going to deport everyone or even build a wall. That was all talk. Now that's he's in power, he's finding out for himself how difficult it is to govern and look he's even appointing people now that bad mouthed him like Nikki Haley and there's even talk of Mitt Romney who criticized him so much during the election. There is always hope. Don't give up so easily. You're not the only one going through this. We all are and honestly working is good. Takes off your mind of things and keeps you busy and you earn much needed money especially in this time of year during the holidays. I would get a job ASAP. It's better to keep yourself busy rather than mope around all day and do nothing. Life is full of problems for everyone. It's hOw you handle it that makes everything ok.
