Instead of reaching out for compromise Democrats will keep doing their usual political attacks. I thought things would change, reach out and dialogue, no more political fight nonsense. The only ones loosing will be us, the undocumented immigrants.

This what Schumer was quoted saying, so you aren't being completely fair about no compromise. We will have to wait and see what happens:

Quote:
"90-95% of the time, we'll be holding his feet to the fire, holding him accountable. But we're Democrats, we're not going to just oppose things to oppose them," he added.
Quote:
Schumer's response: "We're playing no footsie. My views are exactly the same as Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders."
"If we can work with him and be true to our principles, we're not going to reject him. But overall, we're sticking to our principles," he said.

Stop with the pity party guys! It's kinda sad that our situation has made it so hard for us to see the positive in this article.

Well first of all he's really talking about something where somebody has been in the country for 25 years, they've been educated here, they're really tremendously performing people, and citizens, or not citizens depending — I guess he's talking about if they become, or should they become, citizens," Trump said. "The fact is he's showing a lot of compassion. Now I know both of them, and they're both very, very, good people. I like what Newt is saying to a certain extent. It's a very limited thing, but he's talking about people that have really been terrific people for this country for a long, long, period of time. He's saying it's very, very, tough to throw them out.
"I tell you, I know Michele," said Trump. "And if you told Michele, 'Go across the s
treet. You see that family? They've been here, they've been really producers for this country for 25 years. They're great people, their children are educated, their children are producers, you go tell that family to get out of here and get into their own country,' I don't think she could do it, because she's a good person."
"This isn't conservative, I'm the world's most conservative person, this isn't conservative. This is compassion," added Trump.
"Is it amnesty?" asked "Fox and Friends" host Steve Doocy.
"I guess to a certain extent, for a very limited number of people, it would be considered amnesty, but how do you tell a family that's been here for 25 years to get out?" responded Trump.

Let's see what he says in his state of the union speech, but i have a good feeling dreamers are going to be taken care of at least.

President Barack Obama has expressed hope that Republican Donald Trump will protect 'Dreamers' from deportation once he takes office.

In a meeting with fellow Democrats, Obama reportedly relayed details of his conversation with Trump, in which he urged the former business mogul not to discontinue the 2012 executive action that protects so-called 'Dreamers' from being deported.

I am not sure if Obama saying this means he was able to convince him. It is a 50-50. Hopefully Trump understands the human side to this, and hopefully he will be the better man by keeping it because he knows it is the right thing to do.

ATTA BOY my brahhh Barry attempting a three pointer from downtown!!! A valiant hail mary attempt to persuade the business tycoon with the outrageously dazzling hairstyle! I certainly hope the man can see the truth and act ethically and keep the Dreamers in mind while stepping into office! He has said he will be seeking Obama's "counsel" in the days ahead!

That is exactly what has been happening and would have continued happening had Hillary Clinton won!! Trump is an AMAZING equalizer. He will put both Democrats and Republicans on check. Democrats have no choice now but to compromise because they don't have a majority anywhere yet they do have a sizeable group to make a difference. My far reaching prediction is that the relationship between Trump and Democrats will be much much warmer in the long run compared to Trump and Republicans. This is just absolutely amazing man. I honestly BELIEVE Dreamers especially DACA recipients are inching very close to a momentous transition towards legal status. Its amazing really.

We will see...

Because I would hate to go back to Mexico. The government is now instigating chaos to prevent protests.

What is worst is that Trump does not realize that Mexico buys a lot of Americans products and that if he damages the Mexican economy, it will eventually affect U.S businesses. People are really stupid.
