It will probably be Sessions first task.

He probably has drafted many arguments against it since 2012.

Supposedly, all Trump going to do is increase the wage limit for H1B Visas from ~60k to ~130k.

Doubt it, nobody said a thing when it was enacted, besides we got Trump, Pence and Paul Ryan literally on our side... They could of ended it on the first day.....

Increasing the wage limit to incentivize companies to hire American workers won't work. They'll just off shore and outsource the jobs.

True that's why trump will lower taxes to those companies and charge them tax if they want to outsource.

Giving them tax break will be the way to keep them here while the working class gets screwed.

Exactly, why didn't they just end it on day 1? That's the big question. There are a lot of theories floating around, but none of them make any sense to me. The "waiting on Sessions" theory doesn't make sense because the order has already been drafted and they didn't need him for their Muslim ban so they certainly don't need him for ending DACA. The "avoiding negative publicity" argument also doesn't make too much sense because one way or another they will face negative publicity when they decide to act anyway, only now it will be much worse because it will be on top of the million other complaints and protests they have going against them as it is.

I think the most logical reason why DACA is still standing is because they really don't know what to do about us. They may ultimately decide to just end it, but each day that goes by and more negative press is added to the current administration the harder it will be for Trump to just pull the trigger on us. The question they must be asking themselves is whether or not the consequences that they would suffer if they end DACA will be worth the near non-existing gains of ending it.

Trump never intended on ending it to begin with. It was all for votes.

When Trump was saying all that crazy stuff on the campaign trail I doubt he was even really "thinking". I share the opinion of the people who believe he did not really want to win the election. Like he just wanted to increase his brand with the campaign and then when he lost he could increase it further by telling anyone who would listen about how he was screwed out of it by crooked politicians. Basically he was creating fodder for Trump TV. But elections have consequences, and whether he wanted to win or not he now has to address everything he said in the campaign, including ending DACA. But the fact that he hasn't done so already at least shows that he is nervous about the pounding his reputation will take if he just ends it and screws people over. I'm hoping this ends in a scenario where DACA survives in some shape or form, however limited. Something like no new applicants allowed but those already covered are grandfathered and can continue to renew until congress passes something permanent. That way he can claim the program is "over" and keep from screwing current DACA beneficiaries over.
