explaining the 2013 bill to Trump:

TRUMP: well i know what amnesty is, and im totally opposed to amnesty."

MANCHIN: but this, the 10-13 year pathway forward - that you have to play by the rules.

TRUMP: well i want to see it. So he was very anxious to see it. He says, I know what amnesty is.

MANCHIN: Sir, i dont think youre going to find amnesty at all.

ED O'KEFFE, Washington Post: Hes open to reviewing it.

MANCHIN: "He is open -- he is open to reviewing the piece of legislation. He says, "well you've got to start workin on it again, and i said, 'absolutely we will." And that was encouraging."

is the 10-13 year pathway the one where people would have to leave the country and reapply from the country of origin?

Also, have to give Manchin some props for even bringing this up with the toughest reelection imaginable looming.

11 republican senators who voted for this bill are still in the senate, hopefully we can get their vote on the BRIDGE Act or some bill to benefits us.
