It's true... there are so many wine bars and high end restaurants popping up everywhere... at least we still have some classics like Beth's Cafe

I never ventured out that far north but have seen videos of that place (https://vimeo.com/48261216 ) so I should visit it when I come there again.

I do have a nice memory of the Essential Bakery 6 years ago on a cold autumn day. It probably wasn't that cold but I didn't have any real cold weather clothes. I was going to Gas Works Park my first time to take some photos and as soon as I got off the bus, it started pouring so I just kind of stumbled on that place and as soon as I walked in the door, one of the people there yelled out "Free decaf!"...I guess someone messed up an order and they gave it away. Totally made my day.
