Key is, Republicans have full power to pass whatever they want. Obama could not do much because of the obstruction going on in congress. My hunch is, the wall has to go up first or atleast be started before they start with reform.

In the meantime, the Trump administration will continue to deport as many immigrants as they can.

Lets remember where we were a couple of days ago, astonished that it was reported Trump was open for immigration reform. Now we have a timeline, whether it is accurate or not is up to you and your understanding of politics.

Legalization is virtually guaranteed at this point FOR DACA RECIPIENTS and that in my view is very very promising for the rest of the folks (Non-criminal undocumented people living here working hard with no records and been here for years and years). DACA recipients will be the reason for CIR ultimately so in that regards we truly do have to give Obama tons of credit although he wasn't really able to pass a law. That DACA turned out to be a gem. If you think about it because of the Trump administration everyone and their mother in this country knows about "Dreamers" lol! Even my pro pro Trump supporter friends are saying "Dreamers are alright. I would support them to stay." I'm talking like hard core Trump supporters now. It's looking good but as always we need to stay clear of any trouble and we should be alright. We just need the Democrats and Dreamer organizations to cooperate and quit asking for "citizenship for all"
