Are you joking? Because Carrier announced layoffs anyways. And I'd be rich like Trump too if my daddy had left me millions of dollars. I would respect rags to riches story not being born rich.

Trump got a 300 million inheritance from his dad.

How am I joking? Trump made carrier stay here. He offered them tax breaks to stay here. Even though it was a bad deal he still comprised tax money to keep them here.

The jobs that he saved ultimately will cost taxpayers more than what they were saving by keeping those jobs here

The person you're calling "hannity" is an accomplished CPA who does his own thinking. Immigration Reform is happening only under a Republican president and at the moment Trump seems to be the likely person. So what's stopping us from working with him? I mean we've got to let go of our egos and support what's right.
You don't sound like a bad person but I feel that you are extremely misguided in thinking that this is just a simple difference in philosophy. I was the same way growing up and when I was 19 used to be a fan of Rush Limbaugh. It was one of those embarrassing phases when I look back, sort of like wearing acid washed jeans or wearing plaid shirts when Nirvana was big. The reality of the matter is, conservatives don't look at immigrants who aren't white as equal human beings. It's not just a difference of opinion. They don't believe we have any right to be here, even if we become citizens.

Correction, conservatives don't look at immigrants, white or not, as equal human beings. A friend of mine, USC from a white European country, but has an accent still gets told to go back to where he came from...

And I also hope you can realize that Democrats don't want to pass Immigration Reform and just act like they "love all immigrants." You watch. When there are talks of CIR, they will all come out saying "We want citizenship for all or nothing!" They know conservatives will never agree to that and will end up blaming it on them. They don't want them to score a legislative victory. I hope I'm wrong.

We need to work with Trump not bash him. He is not responsible for what is happening concerning with 9 state attorney's threatening to sue or this man getting deported which he isn't. It could've happened under Obama also.
